Enforcement requests
The government is bound under a principle of the "Duty to Enforce". In other words, in case there are violations of laws and regulations, the government has a duty to enforce the law Violations may not simply be allowed to remain unchallenged without a valid reason.
It may however happen that the law may not be enforced in relation to certain violations. This may happen in view of practical considerations, such as a lack of capacity or a prioritisation in the enforcement policy, or that the administrative body responsible for enforcement is simply unaware of the violation.
