Educational and training background

Amber Schollaardt obtained both a master's degree in administrative law and a master's degree in criminal law from Leiden University in 2021. She has been working at Kuyp Baar Advocaten since 2020, where she mainly focuses on administrative law enforcement and permit applications. Amber is the ideal lawyer to assist clients who are experiencing problems with the BIBOB test and the ‘bad conduct test’. In addition, she handles many cases involving the revocation or refusal of specific permits, such as taxi licenses and security passes. Her background in criminal and administrative law is particularly useful in this regard. In addition to Dutch, she speaks English, German, and French.

Experience

Amber previously worked as a legal assistant at another renowned law firm. She also completed an extracurricular internship at the Public Prosecution Service. During her studies, she served on various committees and completed a year on the board. She now also gives lectures on the practical application of the Bibob Act together with Jaap Baar.

Vision

During her studies, Amber focused primarily on criminal and administrative law. She is particularly interested in the effect of government intervention on the lives of citizens. In view of the increasing number of enforcement instruments available to administrative bodies, as well as the nature, severity, and possible side effects of such instruments, she believes that a good defense is more important than ever. As a lawyer, Amber offers clients comfort in the expeditious and successful completion of BIBOB processes and assistance with administrative enforcement.
