Education
Thijmen Lensen graduated cum laude in constitutional and administrative law at the University of Amsterdam. At Kuyp Baar Lawyers, Thijmen mainly focuses on administrative enforcement law, including decisions on the revocation or refusal of permits, the Bibob Act and proceedings on administrative fines.
Experience
After graduating, Thijmen worked for several years as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam, after which he transferred to Kuyp Baar Lawyers. As a lecturer, he taught administrative law subjects. Earlier, he also gained experience at a legal advisory firm and in the legal profession, both at a firm abroad and at a large firm at the Zuidas.
Vision
Thijmen puts his passion for administrative law to work for the interests of citizens and entrepreneurs, who are increasingly dependent on legal transactions with a government that has far-reaching administrative law enforcement tools at its disposal. Thanks to his experience as a teacher, Thijmen has developed a solid foundation in general administrative (procedural) law. This enables him to quickly get to the legal core of the matter, with an eye for current legal developments, whereby Thijmen's working method is characterized by a pragmatic approach and pleasant communication.
