Education
Karin de Lange studied Dutch law at Leiden University. She graduated in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law and Civil Law. As a solicitor, Karin completed the postgraduate course “Specialisation in Criminal Law” at VU University Amsterdam.
Experience
After completing her studies, Karin worked for two years as a registrar in the criminal law department of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. She then made the switch to the legal profession. Karin worked for almost nine years as a solicitor at the law firm Wladimiroff Advocaten. In February 2026, she joined Kuyp Baar Advocaten as a partner.
In addition to her work as a criminal lawyer, Karin has been a director of the Dutch Bar Association since January 2025.
Vision
As a criminal lawyer, Karin focuses primarily on financial and economic criminal law (fraud cases and special criminal law). Karin assists both companies and private individuals. With an active and meticulous approach, Karin is committed to achieving the best possible result for her client in every case.
